PM Cup: Pradesh 2 sets 170-run target for Police



KATHMANDU: Pradesh 2 has set a 170-run target for Nepal Police Club in a match under the Prime Minister Cup Men’s National Cricket Tournament being held at Mulpani International Cricket Ground on Monday.

Invited to bat first after losing the toss, Pradesh 2 notched up 169 runs in 47 overs losing nine wickets.

Hari Shankar Shah of Pradesh 2 top-scored with 53 runs including five fours and one six off 84 balls. Similarly, Himanshu Dutta made 16 runs including three fours off 20 balls while Aadil Ansari contributed 15 runs including one six off 18 balls.

In reply, Lalit Rajbanshi took four wickets conceding four wickets and Sagar Dhakal and Pawan Sarraf grabbed two and one wicket, respectively.
