Prachanda-Nepal faction unveils additional protest programs

Mass rally to be organized in Kathmandu on February 10



KATHMANDU: The Prachanda-Nepal faction of the Nepal Communist Party has unveiled additional programs of agitation against the dissolution of the House of Representatives.

The Prachanda-Nepal faction has unveiled programs including holding protest rallies in different parts of the country through a press conference at the party’s central office in Perisdanda Monday.

The faction is organizing a whistle rally on January 26. Likewise, the faction has decided to organize sit-in protest in Kathmandu from January 27.

The sit-in protest will be participated by former Constituent Assembly members, lawmakers and state assembly members at Maitighar Mandala.

Pampha Bhusal, a member of the party’s standing committee, informed that they are organizing a mass meeting in Butwal on January 28 and in Biratnagar on January 29.

Likewise, they have also decided to organize a protest rally and mass meeting in Kathmandu on February 10.

The Prachanda-Nepal faction of the NCP has been organizing nationwide protest programs against the dissolution of the House of Representatives on December 20 terming PM Oli’s move as unconstitutional and undemocratic.
