Prachanda compares PM Oli’s rally with pro-monarchy rallies

KATHMANDU: Chairman of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Prachanda-Nepal faction Pushpa Kamal Dahal has emphasized holding protest rallies against the dissolution of the House of Representatives in Kathmandu rather than any other city.

“We discussed whether we should hold one rally in Janakpur as well,” Prachanda said at a program in Kathmandu on Monday morning.

He said they are planning to go for a decisive struggle against the government by organizing a big rally which will be participated by more than 25 thousand people.

“No matter how many rallies KP Oli organizes, they will be no different from pro-monarchical rallies,” he said adding, “Pro-monarchy rallies were even held during the King’s direct rule.”
