NC’s Paudel faction holding meeting today

KATHMANDU: Senior leader of main opposition Nepali Congress Ram Chandra Paudel is holding a meeting with the leaders of his faction on Monday.

Paudel faction has called a meeting to come up with a decision on the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) to be floated in the Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting on Tuesday.

The faction has been opposing the idea after President Sher Bahadur Deuba expressed his views to go to the people for fresh mandate.

Paudel faction has been stating that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s move to dissolve the parliament is unconstitutional, anti-democratic and against the mandate of the people.

The NC has called its CWC meeting on Tuesday to dwell on the no-confidence motion filed against chief ministers of provinces.
