Sandeep takes wickets in consecutive overs in Big Bash League



KATHMANDU: Sandeep Lamichhane, who was released by Delhi Capitals of Indian Premier League (IPL) has taken two wickets in two consecutive overs against the Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League (BBL) Cricket in Australia today.

He dismissed Lyme Livingstone, the opener for 26 runs, in the fourth ball of the first over. In the eighth over, Sandeep caught Mitchell Mars in the lbw trap.

Sandeep, who has been released on Wednesday by Delhi Capitals after three consecutive seasons, did not get to play a single game in the IPL last session.

After release, he will now be able to participate in the auction to be held in February.
