President Bhandari, PM Oli congratulate US President Biden



KATHMANDU:  President of Nepal Bidhya Bhandari has congratulated Joe Biden on his election as the 46th President of the United States of America (USA).

In a congratulatory message, President Bhandari has wished Biden a successful tenure, expressing belief that the bilateral ties between Nepal and America will further deepen and be smoother in the days ahead, according to the ministry.

Similarly, Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun has congratulated his American counterpart Kamala Harris on being elected as the Vice President of America, appreciating the achievements made in the contemporary issues including gender equality, social justice and climate change.

Similarly, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has also wished American President Biden a successful tenure, expressing belief that the bilateral ties between Nepal and America will take a new height during his stint.

Newly elected President Biden took oath of office and secrecy as the 46th President of America on Wednesday night (according to Nepali time).
