Banke records two new deaths linked with COVID-19



KATHMANDU: Two more people have died of coronavirus pandemic in Banke district.

According to the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Center, Banke, one died in home isolation while the other succumbed to the virus in the course of treatment at Bheri Hospital.

A 70 year old male of Nepalgunj Submetropolis-10 died in home isolation at 9.30 pm on Monday and a 49-year-old male of Nepalgunj-1, died at Bheri Hospital at 6:10 am today.

The septuagenarian man was also sufferign from diabetes, thyroid, blood pressure and mental illness, besides coronavirus.

According to Bheri Hospital sources, the 49-year-old male from Dhambhoji had died 10 minutes after being admitted to the hospital. The male had been staying in home isolation.
