NA peacekeepers build houses for 20,000 conflict victims in Congo



CONGO: Peacekeepers of the Nepal Army have built houses for 20,000 conflict-hit people at Bunia in Mujipela region in African country Congo.

The engineering company of the NA peacekeepers constructed houses for the people displaced from Dijugu region, said the Directorate of Public Relations and Information of the Nepal Army.

The company had started building roads and housings in the area of seven hectors at the request of International Organization for Migration since June 1.

Earlier, the engineering company had built infrastructures for 10,000 displaced people in 2019 at the request of the United Nations.
