Civil society holding protest rally against HoR dissolution today



KATHMANDU:  Civil society activists are organizing a protest rally against the dissolution of House of Representatives (HoR) at Prgya Dabali in the Kathmandu Valley on Tuesday.

The leaders of the civil society are holding the agitation at Prgya Dabali at 2 pm, said sources.  The leaders of the Civil Society including Krishna Pahadi, Chairman of Nepal Bar Association Chandeshwor Shrestha will address the protest rally.

Political parties, civil society leaders and various organizations have staged demonstrations after Prime Minister Oli dissolved the HoR on December 20.

Currently, writs filed against the HoR dissolution are sub-judice in the Supreme Court.  The SC will hear the writs tomorrow.
