No load shedding at all, says Energy Ministry



KATHMANDU: Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation has stated that there was no chance of load shedding in the country.

The Ministry has clarified that works were underway in line with the National Energy Crisis Reduction and Electricity Development Decade Policy 2072 to end the energy crisis.

The problem of load shedding surfaced lately in some parts in the country was due to technical causes, it argued.

Issuing a press release on Thursday, the Ministry also shared that it was working out to curb power wastage, ensuring sufficient extension lines for supply and energy export.
