JSP Chair Yadav calls for revocation of HoR dissolution

KATHMANDU: Chairman of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Upendra Yadav has demanded immediate revocation of the House of Representatives dissolution saying that the House was still “alive”.

He also claimed that Prime Minister KP Oli did not have the authority to dissolve the HoR since he was already in minority justifying his claim that as many as 86 parliamentarians had signed against PM Oli.

Speaking at a program in Kathmandu on Tuesday, Yadav said PM Oli dissolved the HoR despite being in minority while calling immediate revocation of the House dissolution.

“PM Oli has taken an unconstitutional and undemocratic move,” Yadav alleged the Prime Minister.
