Three MPs of Bagmati State withdraw signatures in support of CM Poudel



HETAUDA: Three lawmakers of Bagmati State have withdrawn their signatures that they had signed on a no-confidence motion against Bagmati State Chief Minister Dormani Poudel.

Lawmakers, including Rama Ale Magar, Prakash Shrestha and Krishna Bhurtel have withdrawn their signatures showing support to Chief Minister Poudel.

While Magar and Shrestha are elected from Kathmandu 10 and 7, Bhurtel is elected from Chitwan.

They have withdrawn their signatures through the Chief Minister’s Office and the Provincial Assembly Secretariat.

With this, CM Poudel has become stronger. The lawmakers have expressed their support to Prime Minister KP Oli’s decision of dissolving the House of Representatives and go for a fresh mandate.

As many as 45 lawmakers had filed a no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Poudel under the leadership of Shalikram Jamarkattel, deputy leader of the Nepal Communist Party.
