LAHAN: Leader of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Giriraj Mani Pokharel has said they had to wage a protest to safeguard federalism.

“We had to take to the streets against the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) after quitting the position of ministers,” he said talking to media persons here today.

He, who quit as education minister in the incumbent government, argued that the HoR dissolution would end stability and federalism.
