Internal feud behind dismal performance of government-Minister Dhakal

NUWAKOT: Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation Bhanubhakta Dhakal has said that the government could not perform well due to non-cooperation from own party colleagues.

Addressing a gathering of cadres at Bidur today, Minister Dhakal asserted that the government could not take a pace due to obstruction of own party leaders who resorted to criticizing the government more than the opposition party did.

“If we observe the tenure of the incumbent government till this date, some leaders of the ruling Nepal Communist Party were found protesting the government more than the opposition did”, he added..

He also claimed that the parliamentary dissolution and announcement of election by the government was in accordance with the constitution. “The government move cannot be stated unconstitutional as the constitution itself has enshrined the provision that the parliament could sustain for five years on condition it is not dissolved”, the minister argued.

He also urged the cadres not to cast any doubt regarding the conduction of elections in the country.
