Sandeep Lamichhane grabs two wickets in BBL



KATHMANDU: Nepali leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane grabbed two wickets for his team Hobart Hurricanes in his first match of the Big Bash League (BBL) on Saturday.

Lamichhane took wickets of Hilton Cartwright and Ben Dunk of Melbourne Stars giving away 38 runs while bowling stipulated four over.

Lamichhane participated in the first match as he completed his 14-day quarantine.

Lamichhane could not participate in the first six matches due to a COVID-19 infection.

He had been infected with COVID-19 while in Nepal and had to stay in quarantine upon reaching Australia.
