KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli has said he would work actively against the messy politics that is inciting instability in the country and involving party cadres in the fight for sheer individual interest.

Addressing a program on ‘PM with Children’ organized by Nepal Scout here Friday, PM Oli urged the children to understand politics as an honest game serving the people in a judicious manner. He also made aware the participants at the program not to be influenced by the grimy politics.

In response to the query put forth by the children, PM Oli suggested them not to be involved in politics directly but keep politics out of machinations, unconstitutional activities, and dishonesty.

“I take a lead to bring politics to the right track,” he vowed, adding there was nothing univocal in politics or all other sectors.

Moreover, he argued that some people were making protests taking untruth as true and some were protesting for
protest sake.

“Only prosperity does not suffice people; fear and insecurity do not ensure happiness. Only the exercise of rights but without an atmosphere to creative activities are unable to bring wellbeing to us,” he observed, adding that the
the government wants to have a dignified life for citizens.

PM Oli reminded the national ambition of ‘prosperous Nepal, happy Nepali’ would be accomplished at any rate.

Similarly, responding to a question about what efforts he was making to prevent rapes, he said it is a heinous crime to mete out inhuman behavior to women and girls; the law would be implemented effectively to curb such crimes.

He also said future development depends on present children, so they should believe in good works.
