Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll hits 1,832 with seven new fatalities

KATHMANDU: As many as seven COVID-19 patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 1,832 as of Monday afternoon.

Likewise, the country recorded a total of 659 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 258,840 in the country as of Monday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 6,427 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 718 infected people got recovery from the virus infection. So far, 250,581 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Meanwhile, a total of 297 COVID-19 patients in Nepal are undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and ventilator support.

A total of 257 patients are in ICU and 40 on ventilator support.
