Prachanda-Nepal faction takes action against Minister Tamang



KATHMANDU: The Prachanda-Nepal faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has taken action against newly appointed Minister for Youth and Sports Daba Tamang.

NCP, Sindhupalchowk Chapter of Prachanda-Nepal faction took a decision to this effect after Tamang joined the Prime Minister Oli-led cabinet as a minister.

Issuing a press release, the NCP Sindhupalchowk District Committee accused Tamang of betraying the party, people and the nation by embracing the unconstitutional move taken by Oli.

“Daba Tamang has betrayed the party, people and the nation by embracing the unconstitutional move taken by Prime Minister Oli,” reads the press release.
