Three more succumb to coronavirus taking Nepal’s death toll to 1,819



KATHMANDU: As many as three COVID-19 patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 1,819 as of Saturday afternoon.

Meanwhile, the country recorded a total of 500 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 257,700 in the country as of Saturday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 6,749 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 840 infected people got recovery from the virus infection. So far, 249,132 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, three persons succumbed to the virus across the country in the past 24 hours, hitting the total COVID-19 related deaths to 1,819.
