NCP Vice Chair Gautam meets Prachanda at Khumaltar



KATHMANDU: Vice Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Bamdev Gautam has reached Khumaltar to hold talks with Executive Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda on Saturday morning.

Earlier, he had said he would not participate in the meetings of any factions of the ruling NCP. He had not participated in the meetings of any factions since December 20 when the NCP was divided politically.

Other leaders of Prachanda-Nepal factions were also present in the meeting with Gautam. Madhav Nepal, Narayan Kaji Shrestha and Gautam were in the meeting.

Some leaders loyal to Gautam have already joined the Oli faction and become ministers.
