PM Oli preparing to induct ministers in 7 vacant posts

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is making preparations to induct ministers in the posts that lay vacant after seven ministers of the Dahal-Nepal faction resigned following the dissolution of the House of Representatives.

According to Baluwatar sources, three former Maoist leaders Top Bahadur Rayamajhi and Mani Thapa are being picked for the post of ministers. The other ministers to be appointed from the former CPN (Maoist Center) and those from the CPN-UML are yet to be decided.

Prime Minister can appoint any individuals to the post of ministers at his discretion in the present context of the HoR dissolution.

Minister Pradeep Gyawali said the cabinet reformation will take place soon following the meeting of the Central Committee. “Prime Minister Oli is not the caretaker but the full-fledged Prime Minister,” he maintained.
