43 incidents of domestic violence recoded in Baglung



BAGLUNG: Baglung district has recorded 43 incidents of domestic violence in the past 11 months.

According to a statistics, most of the victims faced domestic, and they are women and children. Of the recorded incidents, 26 are settled via mediation so far.

Similarly, nine incidents are registered in the district court. Of these cases registered in the court, no single case is settled yet.

According to the police, most of such cases are settled through mediation even to ensure win-win to both sides. In comparison to the previous year, cases of human rights violation were decreasing in the district. RSS
