COVID-19: Province 1 sees 94 fresh cases, 276 discharged



BIRATNAGAR: Province 1 has seen 94 fresh cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Social Development of Province 1, 41 females and 53 males tested coronavirus positive in past the 24 hours.

The Ministry said that 52 people in Morang, 19 in Sunsari, eight in Jhapa, three in Sankhuwasabha, two in Ilam, and one each in Bhojpur, Udayapur, Panchthar, and Taplejung have tested coronavirus positive.

The province saw six coronavirus positive cases in people from outside the province.

With these cases, the number of coronavirus in the province has reached 29,426.

In the meantime, 276 people got discharged from various isolation centers and home isolation of the province.

With the Monday cases, the number of discharged cases here has reached 25,395 now.
