PM Oli directs all head of security agencies to stay alert



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli has instructed all security chiefs of all four security agencies to stay alert to ensure law and order in the country.

According to Surya Thapa, PM’s press advisor, PM Oli has discussed the changed situation with the security chiefs and gave necessary instructions.

Thapa informed that Chief of Nepal Army General Purna Chandra Thapa, along with Chief of Nepal Police Sailesh Kumar Chhetri, chief of Armed Police Force Nepal Shailendra Khanal, and Chief of National Investigation Bureau Ganesh Adhikari took part in the discussion.

Earlier, PM Oli had discussed with the Commissioners of the Election Commission.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Sunday dissolved the House of Representatives at the recommendation of the Council of Ministers.
