Prachanda reaches PM’s official residence at Baluwatar for SC meeting

KATHMANDU: Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” has reached Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar to discuss PM KP Oli’s recommendation of the Parliament.

He rushed to Baluwatar soon after holding a “crucial” meeting with other party top leaders at Khumaltar to attend a Standing Committee meeting.

The meeting participated by Chairman “Prachanda”, senior leaders Madhav Kumar Nepal and Jhalanath Khanal at Prachanda’s residence in Khumaltar had discussed Prime Minister KP Oli’s proposal to dissolve the parliament and its consequences.

Meanwhile, Standing Committee members of the ruling NCP are meeting at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar to discuss the government’s recommendation to dissolve the House of Representatives (HoR).

“The party is likely to take action against Prime Minister KP Oli for his unconstitutional move of dissolving the parliament,” a Standing Committee member said.

NCP senior leaders are engaged in serious discussions to chart out their future move against the government’s decision of dissolving the House.

Prachanda has, meanwhile, blamed Prime Minister Oli that the latter has gone for coup-de-tat of the republic.
