NCP Vice-chair Gautam says he will not attend factional gatherings



KATHMANDU: Vice-Chairman of the ruling Communist Party of Nepal (NCP) Bamdev Gautam has said that disputes within the party should be resolved through meetings.

At the time dispute in the ruling party has reached its climax, Gautam said that the two Chairmen should now move towards resolving the dispute without holding factional gatherings.

He even said that he will not participate in any such gatherings.

According to Bishwamani Subedi, Press Adviser to Vice-Chairman Gautam, Gautam has said that he will attend the meeting of the five Secretariat meeting even if he does not attend factional gatherings.

NCP Executive Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda and senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal had on Friday held a gathering of the leaders of the district and central members from Province 1.
