RPP announces protest programs



KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has announced protest programs demanding the restoration of the institution of monarchy in the country.

The party said it would organize motorbike rallies in all district headquarters and major cities from December 27 to January 5.

Similarly, the party would also organize demonstrations in district headquarters from December 30 to January 9.

RPP decided to hit the streets amid pro-monarchy demonstrations throughout the country by various groups.

The party has not led any demonstrations so far other than the one in Jhapa two weeks ago.
