Cabinet decides to continue border closure



KATHMANDU: The government has decided not to open border points with India and China closed since March owing to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday decided not to open the border points currently closed, said a Cabinet minister.

The government has currently allowed 11 border points with India and one with China in case of emergency and for supplies.

Locals have been protesting for the past few days demanding the opening of border points in the Terai districts.
