Three succumb to coronavirus in Pokhara and Kailali

KATHMANDU: Three more coronavirus patients have succumbed to coronavirus in Pokhara and Kailali.

According to Dr Binod Bindu Sharma, the Spokesperson of Corona Control and Prevention Program of Gandaki Province, a 74-year-old woman of Pokhara-17, Kaski and a 60-year-old man of Myagde-2, Tanahu succumbed to pandemic while undergoing treatment in two different hospitals in Pokhara.

Spokesperson Sharma informed that the woman in Pokhara died at Manipal Teaching Hospital at 8.40 PM on Saturday and 60-year-old man from Tanahu died at the Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences at 9.30 am on Sunday.

Likewise, 75-year-old woman died of coronavirus infection in Kailali on Sunday morning.

The woman from Godavari Municipality-1 died while undergoing treatment at Seti Provincial Hospital.

The woman was admitted to the hospital on December 7 and was being treated on a ventilator.

According to Seti Provincial Hospital Information Officer Dilip Shrestha, the woman also had pneumonia.
