FNCCI picks Chairmen to 18 committees



KATHMANDU: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has divided the role of the elected members of the federation’s executive committee.

A meeting of FNCCI officials picked Chairpersons for 18 committees.

According to the new responsibilities, Sandeep Agrawal has been given the responsibility of the Tax and Revenue Committee and Vijay Singh Baidya has been given the chairmanship of the Trade Committee.

Surakrishna Baidya, Prakash Singh Karki, Sahil Agrawal and DB Basnet have been given the responsibility of chairing the local economic development, land transport, bank finance and insurance and cottage and small industry committees respectively.

Hemraj Dhakal is the Chairman of the Skill Awareness and Training Development Committee, Mangesh Lal Shrestha is the Chairman of the Information and Communication Committee, Bharat Acharya is the Chairman of the Industry Committee and Ananda Bagadiya is the Chairman of the International Investment Promotion Committee.

Deshwandhu Basnet has been appointed as the Chairman of the National and NRN Forum, Rajesh Agrawal as the Chairman of the Excellence Awards and Events, Aakash Adhikari as the Chairman of the Film and Entertainment Forum and Rajan Shrestha as the President of the Chairman Service Forum, according to the Federation Secretariat.

Ranjit Acharya has been given the responsibility of chairing the Start-Up And Innovation committee formed by the federation as a new committee, while Ambika Prasad Poudel has been given the responsibility of chairing the Capital Market Forum and Vishnu Gaire has been given the responsibility the Foreign Employment Forum.
