3.7 magnitude earthquake jolts Doti



DOTI: A 3.7 magnitude earthquake has shaken the hilly district of Doti in Sudurpaschim Province.

According to the Seismological Center, Surkhet, the quake struck at 1:35 pm on Saturday at the border area of Doti and Bajhang districts.

The quake shook the house, said Karna Bahadur Dwariya, a local of Dipayal.

The quake was felt in Doti and other parts of Sudurpaschim Province.

Chief District Officer Bhim Prasad Bhattarai said that no damage has been reported so far due to the quake.
