India records 34,666 new COVID-19 cases



NEW DELHI: India recorded 34,666 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 9,796,992.

Currently, 364,582 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 9,290,188 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 142,200 mark.

With 487 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 142,222, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.
