12 fatalities take Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll to 1,663

KATHMANDU: As many as 12 COVID-19 patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 1,663 as of Thursday afternoon.

Meanwhile, a total of 1,217 people have been diagnosed coronavirus positive in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal’s COVID-19 tally has reached 245,650 with fresh cases as of Thursday afternoon.

A total of 1,064 individuals got discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 231,601 in the country.

Nepal currently has 12,386 active cases.

Likewise, 515 people are in quarantine facilities across the country at present.
