Oli faction organizes gathering in Biratnagar

KATHMANDU: The students close to Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chairman and Prime Minister KP Oli have organized a gathering in Biratnagar on Monday.

According to sources, the gathering meant to ensure PM KP Oli’s hold in the party at local levels is being organized this afternoon.

Amidst the mounting tension in the party and in a situation when the Executive Chairman Prachanda’s dossier has been made the agenda for serious discussion in the party Secretariat and the Standing Committee meetings, students close to PM Oli have organized a province-level conclave in Province 1.

NCP source close to PM Oli informed that some Central Committee members of NCP and the student leaders including Ain Singh Mahar are taking part in the gathering.

Meanwhile, NCP youth leaders and students close to Dahal-Nepal faction had organized a meeting at Thapathali Engineering College Kathmandu on December 4.

Likewise, the valley-level gathering of the student leaders close to PM Oli was organized at Madan Bhandari College on  November 29.
