BIRATNAGAR: Province 1 has recorded 123 new cases of coronavirus in past 24 hours.
According to Ministry of Social Development of Province 1, out of 743 PCR tested in various labs in Province 1, 77 males and 46 females tested coronavirus positive.
The Ministry informed that the Province witnessed 46 cases of COVID-19 in Morang, 37 in Jhapa, 15 in Sunsari, 11 in Ilam, two in Taplejung and one each in Tehrathum, Bhojpur and Udayapur in last 24 hours.
Nine swabs tested in Province 1 from outside the province have also tested coronavirus positive.
With Sunday’s cases the number of coronavirus cases in this province has become 28,170 today.
Similarly, 251 people have been discharged from various isolation centers today. With this the province has got 23,150 coronavirus cases discharged till date.
