BIRATNAGAR: Chief of Province-1 Somnath Adhikari ‘Pyasi’ was taken to Kathmandu in a helicopter for further treatment.
He was airlifted Friday afternoon for lack of oxygen on treatment of coronavirus infection. Province Chief Adhikari was in home isolation in Biratnagar after getting infection to the virus last Friday, Adhikari’s Press Advisor Khemraj Adhikari said.
The Province Chief is taken to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj for the treatment.
