US records 2,914 COVID-19 deaths in past 24 hrs



WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 14,534,246 in the United States of America after 217,626 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 5,691,126 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 8,560,293 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 282,827 with 2,914 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in last December, the coronavirus has killed 1,510,942 and infected 65,505,686 globally until the filing of this news.
