Fire breaks out at officials’ quarters in Simkot Airport



HUMLA: A fire has broken out in the quarters of officials of Simkot Airport in Humla district on early Thursday.

The fire broke out in the quarters used by chief administrative officer of the airport that reportedly started due to short-circuit at the rear part of the quarters.

A room of the administrative officer has been fully destroyed in the fire while the other rooms sustained minor damages.

Security personnel from Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, Nepal Police and locals of the district headquarters Simkot have contained the fire.  The fire started at 4 am.
