Department of Commerce takes action against eight companies for black marketeering



KATHMANDU: The Department of Commerce, Supplies, and Consumer Protection has taken action against eight companies operating against the Consumer Protection Act, 2075 BS.

The action has been taken against the companies after they were found to be involved in black marketeering during the daily market monitoring conducted by the department.

The department has collected a total of Rs 121,000 in fines through these companies.

The department has informed that the companies have been taken action as per the Consumer Protection Act, 2075 BS during the market monitoring on Tuesday.
