Bird darts at Kailash Air chopper, force landing saves lives

KATHMANDU: A Kailash Air helicopter flying to Kathmandu from Baglung has taken to force landing at Nuwakot after a bird darted at it on Sunday afternoon.

According to District Police Office Nuwakot, the chopper that flew from Galkot, Baglung for Kathmandu encountered a bird at Belkotgadhi, Nuwakot this afternoon.

The Police informed that all six people including the pilot and the cabin crew are safe and  all the passengers have been sent to Kathmandu via another helicopter.

The Police added that the pilot is still in Belkot, Nuwakot.
