Four killed as jeep carrying wedding attendants meets with accident in Rukum West  



KATHMANDU: Four people have died after a jeep carrying members of a wedding party met with an accident at Aathbiskot municipality-7 in Rukum West.

According to District Police Office (DPO), Rukum West, the jeep, Ra 1 Ja 589, was heading to Aathbiskot-8, Jante from Gharikhola carrying wedding attendants on Friday evening.

The deceased have been identified as around 51-year-old Gore Nepali, Sarke Nepali, 66, Aite Chadar, 48, of Asthbiskot-8, and Kali Bahadur Nepali, 51, of Aathbiskot municipality-7.   Sixty-year-old Lal Bahadur Nepali has sustained critical injuries in the accident, said police.

The accident took place after it backtracked when the driver was pulling it over.
