KATHMANDU: A 50-year-old man has died from COVID-19 in the course of treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.

The patent of Rajbiraj-4, Saptari, who tested positive for coronavirus on November 16 succumbed to the disease on Tuesday night, said Dr Ashish Shrestha, the deputy spokesperson of the hospital.

He had also been suffering from liver cirrhosis, said the hospital.
