Province 1 COVID-19 case tally reaches 25,290



BIRATNAGAR: The number of coronavirus cases in Province-1 has reached 25,290 with 214 coronavirus new cases in the last 24 hours in the province.

According to the Ministry of Social Development of Province 1, some 78 females and 136 males came out COVID-19 positive when 809 PCR tested in 24 hours.

The province saw 73 new fresh cases of coronavirus in Morang, 53 in Sunsari, 50 in Jhapa, six in Ilam and five in Sankhuwasabha recently.

Similarly, there have been three new cases in Khotang, 2 in Udayapur and one each in Dhankuta and Ilam today.

The Ministry informed that 19 swabs of the people outside Province 1 also tested coronavirus positive in various labs of Province-1.

The province got 311 coronavirus positive patients discharged after recovery today.

The province witnessed 11 coronavirus related deaths in last 24 hours.
