DANG: The administrative and academic programs in Karnali Academy of Health Sciences remain obstructed for the past 39 days.
These programs were obstructed after the Vice-chancellor of the academy Prof Dr Rajendra Raj Wagle appointed Professor Muniraj Chhetri to the post of the dean in the academy.
The protestors, employee’s welfare society obstructed the regular activities following the dissatisfaction over the appointment of Chhetri.
With this, the employees of the academy have been deprived of their salary and allowances.
The society chair Ramakanta Upadhyay blamed the VC of neglecting the demands and not resolving the problems through talks despite their several appeal.
