Two cadres of Biplav outfit held in Lalitpur



KATHMANDU: Two cadres of outlawed Nepal Communist Party (NCP) led by Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav) have been arrested in Lalitpur.

Acting on a tip-off, a police squad deployed from Metropolitan Police Range, Lalitpur apprehended them from Jwagal of Lalitpur Metropolitan City, on Friday night, informed SSP Tek Prasad Rai.

The arrested are 41-year-old Prem Darnal and 39-year-old Sanjib Nepali, members of the party’s central department of finance,

According to Rai, they were held on the charge of extorting money from businessmen and industrialists.
