Humla rural municipality closed for three days



HUMLA: The office of Namkha Rural Municipality in Humla has been closed for three days from Friday after four students tested positive for coronavirus.

The rural municipality decided to close the municipality in a bid to stem the spread the coronavirus after the students residing in the hostel of Mahabauddha Higher Secondary School got infected with the virus.

People’s mobility has been restricted from Friday, Acting Chief Administrative Officer Dhanlal Rokaya said.

Chief of the rural municipality Bishnu Bahadur Lama said that outsiders are restricted from entering into the rural municipality for three days in order to contain the spread of the virus.
