Govt decides to establish fertilizer factory in Nepal



KATHMANDU: The government has decided to set up a fertilizer factory in Nepal.

Minister for Communications and Information Technology Parbat Gurung stated that the Cabinet meeting decided to form a three-member committee for the establishment of the factory in the country.

The Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, and the Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development are members of the committee which has the Minister for Finance as Coordinator.

The committee will study the feasibility of the factory in Nepal, the investment model, and all the issues related to the factory and submit a report.
