New helipad constructed at Baluwatar

KATHMANDU: A new helipad has been constructed on the premises of Prime Minister’s official residence at Baluwatar.

Posting a message on social networking sites Prime Minister’s Press Advisor Surya Thapa said a modern helipad has been built at Baluwatar in line with the standards of the Civil Aviation Authority Nepal (CIAAN).

Thapa further said Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli used the newly constructed helipad for the first time when he flew to Sankhuwasabha to take part in various programs yesterday.

He claimed that the helipad will save time and avoid traffic congestion on the road while moving to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) from Baluwatar.
