COVID-19 infection declining in Rasuwa



RASUWA: Coronavirus infection is decreasing in Rasuwa district in recent period. Out of 114 cases so far, 92 have returned home after recovery.

An official at the District Public Health Office, Kiran Shrestha, said there are no new cases after the Dashain, thanks to the precaution adopted by the local people heeding to the advice of the health workers.

He said so far swabs collected from 1,514 people have been tested in the district.

Shrestha shared that the people have been urged to wash their hands with soap and water thoroughly, wear face masks and maintain social distance as well as to immediately contact the nearest health facility or health workers in case they have any symptoms.

Meanwhile, Prof Dr Govinda KC has been visiting the health facilities in the district and examining the health of local people. He has been checking the health of especially the people with orthopedic problems since the last three days, Rasuwa Hospital Dhunche stated.

It is stated that he has checked the health of hundreds of patients and given medical advice to them. Dr KC has come to Rsuwa six times so far for providing free health check-up services to the locals. He will remain in Rasuwa till tomorrow.
