PM sends General Secy Paudel to Khumaltar to coax Dahal

KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) General Secretary Bishnu Paudel reached Khumaltar to coax NCP Executive Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Monday morning.

Puaude reached Dahal’s residence as an emissary of the Prime Minister this morning.

A majority of Secretariat members of the party on Saturday had urged the Prime Minister to call party meetings.

However, Prime Minister Oli is reluctant to do so. Sources claimed that PM Oli sent General Secretary Paudel this morning to coax disgruntled Dahal.

Already rendered into minority in Secretariat Committee, Oli on Sunday had called senior leader Madav Kumar Nepal, Bhim Rawal, Surendra Pandey and Raghuji Pant to Baluwatar and urged them to move ahead in a mutual agreement.
